Earpieces Covert

Covert Earpieces featuring acoustic tubes | Information

Design & Visibility: They are designed for “discreet communication operations” and undercover work. They typically feature a transparent acoustic tube that is much less visible than standard wiring. The tube is often changeable for hygiene and better sound reception in noisy environments.

Comfort & Fit: They use an in-ear tip connected to the acoustic tube. Light of Night stocks accessories like “spare tubes” and “eartips” to maintain hygiene and comfort. They are lightweight and designed to be worn under clothing (often using “2-wire” or “3-wire” setups where the mic and PTT are clipped to a lapel or hidden up a sleeve).

Intended Use Case: They are recommended for security personnel, close protection, and undercover operations where the user needs to blend in or maintain a low profile. Often features a lapel microphone with a 360-degree metal clip. Some high-end models (3-wire) separate the microphone, PTT button, and earpiece into three distinct wires for maximum concealment.
