Radio Repair

Eligibility and Accepted Models – Our technicians can repair a wide variety of two-way radios, including popular models from major brands like:

• Motorola (e.g., TLKR, XT, XTB, CP, GP, DP series)

• ICOM (e.g., IC-F series)

• Kenwood (e.g., TK series)

• Vertex (e.g., VX series)

• Other brands like Kirsun, Mitex, HYT, OPUS, and TTI.

Payment and Pricing:

• Minimum Repair Price (MRP): An MRP fee is required and must be paid upfront for all repairs.

• Excluded Items: The MRP does not cover the antenna, battery, metal chassis, or charging equipment.

• Further Quote: If the actual cost of the repair exceeds the upfront MRP, or if new housing is needed, Light of Night will contact you with a quote before proceeding with the repair.

Repairability Limitations:

While we aim to repair all items, some radios may be deemed unrepairable due to:

• Liquid damage

• Severe software/hardware issues

• Printed Circuit Board (PCB) damage

If your radio is found to be unrepairable, there is no further repair charge, though postage costs may still apply
